Scotland Summer Hot List – 2016

SCOTTISH SUMMER

I saw this post on Jessi’s blog Two Feet One World and really loved it because I had done a similar list for my personal file just a week or two ago.

As you probably know, I have this massive Scottish bucket list, nearing 100 items right now, and since my visa is coming to an end soon and I have no idea what will be happening to my life, I thought I would need to make the most of this summer. Also, it definitely can’t be worst than last summer weather wise, right? *runs to touch wood

I pulled out a few items that are definitely doable this summer and even reached out to a few friends – the more the merrier right? – to make sure I’m accountable but also in good company for all these adventures and have a lot of fun in the coming months.

This is the list I currently have and am hoping to achieve over the summer.

  • Attend a music festival
  • Go Ape in the Trossachs
  • Walk part of the Fife Coastal Path
  • Michelin starred dinner at The Kitchin in Edinburgh
  • Kayak the Firth of Forth
  • Take surfing lessons in Dunbar
  • Day trip to the Borders
  • (finally) Hike up Arthur’s Seat
  • Attend the Military Tattoo
  • Visit an aquarium
  • Bike (or perhaps walk?) the Water of Leith
  • Visit an isle
  • Go to Arbroath
  • Tour Linlithgow

There is truly so much to do in Scotland and there is lots of time over the summer to achieve this. My current contract is also coming to an end in June so perhaps I’ll get a bit of a break and get a few of those under my belt.

Will let you know how it all went in September – or you can follow along on Instagram!

What are your plans this summer?xx
