Would you rather….Travel edition

chile 5

Oh travel! As you can tell with my suitcase obsession above, it has always and will always haunt me. I’ve seen lots of Scotland in the past few months of re-immigrating here, but have not been to a new country in so long! Sadly this leaves this little travel blog of mine to some lonely nights of reminiscing.

Well more reminiscing and stories today!

I’ve seen this post on both Unlocking Kiki and Of Golden Roses and I couldn’t pass the chance to fill it up and see if I could answer these tricky questions in this travel edition of ‘Would You Rather’

Let the games begin…

Travel or focus on your career at the age of 25?
I think I always wished I could get both. Currently I think I’m not achieving any, to be 100% honest with you. Though my career is slowly starting to shape itself, I’m definitely always thinking of many more new places where my feet could take me.

Have a $10,000 budget for a holiday and fly first class for $5,000 and stay in mediocre accommodation, or spend $1,000 on economy and stay in luxury accommodation?
I’ll go with my fellow bloggers here and say that I’d rather fly economy and have luxury accommodation. I rarely slum it when I travel, I need a peace of mind and a good bed to lay my head to enjoy any place so this is definitely a priority.

Never take the train or never take an airplane again?
Train definitely. I’m a bit of a nervous flyer, but it gets things done. Also it would mean I could never go home :'(

Stay in a palm hut along the seashore for seven days or stay in a log cabin in the woods for one month?
Definitely the seashore. I enjoy a good log cabin as much as the next Canadian, but I’m definitely not a forest kind of person.

Be left behind in the bush on an African safari or be left behind in the water on a scuba trip?
Hm neither? They both sound terrifying! I think I’d pick the bush – better chances of staying alive….well….maybe…

Have an awesome job in a mediocre city or a mediocre job in an awesome city?
Ugh another one of those. I think I’d rather take a great job in a mediocre city – you can focus on work during the week and travel away during the weekend…cough cough not that that’s what I’m doing in Stirling …

Be able to teleport to places you’ve already been or only be able to teleport to places you’ve never been before?
I think logically speaking being able to apparate teleport to places I’ve already been would be easier because that’s probably where I would want to go the fastest. I can well take a plane to the other places!

Be stuck on a seven-hour delay, or turn up at the airport and realize your flight is tomorrow?
I think I’d actively hate on both of those. I’ve dealt with delays and yes they are least frustrating than making a mistake I guess but still frustrating. I think realising my flight is tomorrow would be less stress inducing.

Be able to play every musical instrument that you touch or speak every language that you hear?
I’ll leave the music to the Brit. I wish I could babble in more languages!

Would you rather travel along the ocean floor or take a trip to outer space?
Ugh neither interest me honestly – I’m slightly claustrophobic and those two sound terrifying.

Travel back in time to meet your ancestors or forward to meet your descendants?
Hm while the past and my ancestors intrigue me I’d be a bit scared to go back into the past. I’d definitely love to see the future!

Have in-flight WiFi but no legroom (like, zero inches) or in-flight legroom but no WiFi?
100% the legroom. I’ve dealt for 26 years of having no wifi on planes, but legroom is definitely one of those disappearing commodity it seems.

Be able to eat anything and any quantity of food with no negative health effects or be refreshed and well rested after only three hours of sleep?
Sleep. Gosh so many more hours in the day! Though I do like my sleeping…

Your turn now! Let me know some of your answers below!xx
